Bare head of Octavian right / Equestrian statue of Octavian, his right hand raised, on horseback rearing to left, CAESAR • DIVI • F below. RIC I 262. CRI 394. Calicó 187. Biaggi 97. A few surface marks, slight bend in flan, otherwise an extremely handsome aureus with an appealing anepigraphic portrait of the young ruler, well centered on a broad, round flan.
