CAESAR AVGVSTVS, laureate head of Augustus left / DIVVS IVLIV, the Julian comet with eight rays, the topmost forming a tail. RIC 37b. BMCRE 326. BN 1298. RSC 97. Rare variety with head left! Struck on a broad flan and deeply toned.
