Republic 8 Soles 1815 PTS-FL MS61 NGC, Potosi mint, KM15. One-year type. Original mint luster sparkles in the fields and light handling of little visual significant determines the grade. Presently tied with two other examples for the finest graded by NGC of this variety (two varieties exist for the date, with the other displaying portions of an "R" beneath the "S" in the denomination). As a type, extremely desirable at this Mint State tier, with the only other MS-graded piece we've offered being a MS62 of the S/R variety, that piece realizing $4,230 in 2016.
