This particular piece exhibits intensely lustrous surfaces and a radiant appearance, along with stunningly impeccable fields. Compare to a similarly graded example (though, in the opinion of this cataloger, the present specimen is immensely superior) which realized a hammer of $2,800 in our 2018 NYINC auction (sale 3061, lot 30024).
