Pedro II wood Pattern 100 Reis 1886 MS67 NGC, KM-Pn158, LMB-E71a. An exceptionally elegant pattern issue struck in wood, and one of the rare circumstances when the application of the term mahogany as a color descriptor is quite apt. The finest graded by NGC, and far superior to a similar piece, a PCGS SP64, which realized a hammer of nearly $1,200 in 2012.
