Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1817 NR-JF AU55 NGC, Nuevo Reino mint, KM66.1, Fr-60. A wholesome example of the type which has seen a bit of usage in commerce, this piece nevertheless retains some pleasing luster. A minor edge flaw on the reverse is noted, though it is not overly concerning. The bust of the previous king, Charles IV remains on the obverse, even though the reign of Ferdinand VII was nearly a decade old at this point.
