Republic gold 10 Pesos 1870-GW AU53 NGC, San Jose mint, KM115. From a scant mintage of just 20,000. This scarce issue is difficult to obtain in such a presentable grade as this honey-gold specimen, a pristine shimmering luster highly noticeable within the raised devices and legends. The reverse shows evidence of die-clash, typical for the type, which does not distract from the eye appeal and indeed creates a rather interesting visual effect.
