Republic gold Ducat 1934 MS65 NGC, Kremnitz mint, KM-XM14.1, Fr-16. Struck for the re-opening of the Kremnica mines. An exceptionally lustrous gem, with highly reflective surfaces and a fairly small mintage of just 288 pieces. A similar piece realized a hammer of $1,700 in our 2015 CICF auction (sale 3040, lot 29612).
