Furstenberg-Stuhlingen. Josef Wilhelm Ernst Taler 1729-V XF45 NGC, KM5, Dav-2267. Mintage: 1,167. From the scarcely seen county of Fürstenberg-Stühlingen which existed during the Middle Ages, this illustrative mining taler features an incredible view of the mines and valley with figures at work in the foreground. The surfaces are an exquisite blend of mauve and gray, with luminescent flares that shimmer from below and brighten upon rotation. A popular, singular issue that remains fully collectible at all levels, with the current example pleasing in all regards.
