Among the finest seen for this type, with coarse dentils at the edge that attractively frame the design, a well-detailed strike and attractive pastel-hued patina over both sides that sits atop fields that contain satiny luster. Presently the finest graded at NGC, we note the previous finest, an NGC-graded MS61, realizing a hammer price of $2,600 in a January 2015 Stack's Bowers auction.
