Nürnberg. Free City Taler 1779-KR MS62 NGC, KM351, Dav-2495. A beautiful specimen with a phenomenal strike and lilac toning that surrounds the city on the obverse. The reverse shows a lighter but similar colored tone that is evenly spread upon the surface. A rim nick is noted near 6 o'clock under the city landscape, but it does little to detract from this astonishing piece.
