Silesia-Liegnitz-Brieg. Georg Wilhelm Taler 1675-CB AU58 NGC, Brieg mint, Dav-7742. Mintmaster Christoph Brettschneider. Wholly beautiful, from the impeccable detailing across the raised illustrations, to the semi-reflective fields that are awash in gold and cerulean watercolor brilliance. Despite a very minor amount of wear on the Duke's facial features and the tips of the eagle's feathers, the designs retain an incredibly sharp presence. The occurrence of a few, stray wisps in the open expanses all but disappear into the mottled patina, and are of no consequence to the remarkable eye appeal this coin possesses. Currently the only certified example of this singular type, and an absolute stunner once in hand.
