A pleasing example of this broad issue, featuring James I holding an orb and shouldering a scepter with crowned reverse arms. While the surfaces and rim are consistent with a coin that has been worn as jewelry, both sides present patinated golden color with russet tone set against the raised portions and the fields remain free of any noteworthy marks. A collectible type at all levels of presentation, and sure to engage as such.
