Edward VII gold Coronation Medal 1902 MS61 NGC, 17.10g, BHM-3737, Eimer-1871a. By G. W. de Saulles. Impressively engraved and perfectly struck, with a surface texture that is somewhere between the coarse appearance of a matte finish and the fine appearance of a satin finish. Light contact marks and hairlines are present in the field, but these fade into irrelevance when confronted with the otherwise pristine appearance of this attractive and well-executed medal.
