Central American Republic Provisional 2 Reales 1825 T-NR VF30 NGC, Tegucigalpa mint, KM10. An extremely attractive and presentable example of this rare provisional coinage series, struck at both San Jose and Tegucigalpa and with different magistrates. This particular combination, however, is the one which can be obtained, as the others are all extremely rare. Highly collectible in any grade, though even more given the fairly problem free surfaces and broad flan for issue. A comparable example, also an NGC VF30, but with a bit more of an unattractive, mottled tone, realized a hammer of $1,100 in our 2015 NYINC auction (sale 3038, lot 35433).
