Venice. Francesco Erizzo Scudo (140 Soldi) ND (1631-1646)-DB MS64 NGC, KM182, Dav-4249. Very rare quality for the issue, with a bold strike, bright luster residing in the open fields and attractive multi-hued toning highlights that enhances the eye-appeal on both sides. A small planchet crack is noted near 8 o'clock on the obverse (holdered as the reverse), and remains visible on the corresponding area of the reverse as well. Presently the single finest graded example of the denomination for Francesco Erizzo at NGC, and as such, a coin that is sure to attract significant attention from the collector of elite crown-sized coinage.
