Charles & Johanna "Late Series" 1/4 Real ND (1542-57) M-G VF25 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM0005, Cal-192, Nesmith-7. 16mm/.79g. Impressive quality for this extremely rare issue, showcasing variegated tone over the surfaces with a bold crowned 'K' and an even more important sharp mintmark and assayer initial on the opposite side. Cataloged by Nesmith as "no example located", this remains one of only three known "Late Series" cuartillas from Juan Gutierrez ('G') as assayer, with the other two residing in museums.
