Philip V gold Escudo 1714 Mo-J MS62 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM51.2, Cal-510, 17mm/3.4g. A one-year sub-variety for the denomination, with the cross style differing from the dates immediately preceding it and the surrounding quadrilobe being plain unlike the dates that follow. This example, perhaps the most well-balanced we've seen, displays a bold strike and full Mint State surfaces as well as centering that allows for legibility of all the primary elements of the design; the mintmark, assayer, denomination and date. Highly desirable thus!
