Philip V gold Cob 2 Escudos ND (1712-13) Mo-J MS64 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM53.1, Cal-Type 85. 23mm/6.7g. A coin of astounding preservation with sparkling luster over both sides and no visible marks that degrade the eye-appeal. Despite the date being off the flan, the date range can determined by the reverse cross style that was only used during 1712 and 1713. Sold with a small paper tag that identifies this as Coin ID # 30278 from the Douglas Beach find site where the Nuestra Señora de las Nieves is believed to have been found.
