Philip V gold Cob 8 Escudos 1713 MXo-J MS62 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM57.1, Cal-106. Lustrous with small amounts of debris remaining inside the design crevasses that all but confirm this coin's shipwreck provenance. Some doubling in the strike is evident, but the bottom portions of all digits in the date remain visible. A couple minor instances of contact determine the grade.
