Philip V gold "Date on Obverse" Cob 8 Escudos 1714 Mo-J MS62 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM57.2, Cal-108. 31mm/27.08g. Quite attractive for the issue and bearing a full weight at 27.08 grams, this partially-lustrous Mint State selection displays slightly-dull surfaces, but shows a complete four-digit date, bold initials for the mintmark and assayer, and a well-centered cross on the reverse. An iconic, highly-coveted type, absolutely desired in this scarce level of presentation.
