Maastricht. City Siege silver 100 Stuivers 1794 MS62 NGC, KM10, Dav-1856. Uniface stamped siege coinage, issued by the Austrian defenders during the French Republic siege of September 19 to November 4, 1794. Lightly toned, with attractive color at the peripheries and uninterrupted luster over the large, smooth surfaces. Complete with boldly applied stamps that easily captivate the eye. A true rarity (as are most siege crowns) at the uncirculated level--this being the only example graded above AU58 by either PCGS or NGC--or in other words, the only specimen certified in Mint State at the present time.
