Ferdinand VI Pillar 8 Reales 1758/7 LM-JM MS62 NGC, Lima mint, KM55.1. A much scarcer overdate issue, preserved about as naturally as one could hope for, with a stunningly original arrangement of olive and earthen tone over both sides, a bold strike from center to edge and no major planchet issues. Currently the single finest example of the overdate graded by NGC, with an example of the regular date variety in NGC MS63 grade recently selling for $4,465 in our September 2016 Long Beach auction.
