Carol I gold 100 Lei 1906 AU55 NGC, Brussels mint, KM40, Fr-4, Stamb-067. Lightly circulated with uniform color and soft handling over the surfaces that has resulted in a touch of highpoint friction. Few marks are present for the grade, however a small strike-through is visible towards the back of the mature king's head. Struck for one year on the 40th anniversary of the King's reign and because of its commemorative nature, a highly popular issue among collectors of 20th century gold type.
