Isabel II silvered reverse tin Proof Pattern 20 Reales 1855 SP62 PCGS, cf Calico-Page 772, O'Donnell 548. Plain edge. Engraved by Eduardo Fernández Pescador, this highly enticing specimen displays an obverse imbued with matte, subdued gleam of its tin composition, whilst the silvered reverse has a light steel-blue tone with a gold patina at the peripheries. The obverse features the impeccably-styled bust of Isabella II with her hair drawn into braided bun and the reverse depicts the crowned coat of arms. An appealing specimen and an interesting pattern, worthy of significant collector attention.
