With brilliant white surfaces accentuated by the faint hairlines archetypal of polished dies, the crisp portrait of George V displays its full lush detail to a degree not seen on even contemporary British coins. KM lists no mintage figure for this type, only an arbitrary value of $2,800 in this grade; however, its rarity and eye appeal perhaps merits a re-reflection on the value of this specimen.
