ARGOLIS. Argos. After ca. 125 BC. AR triobol (2.46 gm). NGC AU 4/5 - 5/5. Forepart of wolf at bay left / Large A; E- ΠΙ across upper field, KP-A and TE below; below, star above crescent moon; all within incuse square. BCD Peloponnesos 1173 (listed as "very rare variety"). A pleasing specimen, sharply struck in sound metal, with lightly toned surfaces.
