Heraclius (AD 610-641) and Heraclius Constantine. AV solidus (4.36 gm). NGC MS 4/5 - 3/5, clipped. Constantinople, 5th officina, ca. AD 616-625. Crowned, with cross on circlet, draped and cuirassed facing busts of Heraclius, (on left) larger and bearded, and Heraclius Constantine, (on right) smaller and beardless; cross above between them / Cross potent on base and three steps. Sear 738. Peripheral weakness, one edge slightly trimmed, but with two crisp portraits.
