Saxony. Albert silver "Wettin Dynasty" Medal (33mm) 1889 MS65 NGC, Barduleck-119. Produced by the Dresden Numismatic Society to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the House of Wettin, this incredibly pleasing medal features glossy argent surfaces that turn magenta and cobalt when rotated under the proper light in hand. While a few light marks keep the surfaces from utter perfection, this piece certainly shows all the characteristics of a proof issue.
