An unusual if not somewhat mysterious example, struck with a familiar design but with no undertype visible, as should be the case per the entry in Krause. Perhaps a modern re-strike using old dies. Regardless, the strike is bold, and the surfaces are flashy and pleasing to the eye. The example was left ungraded by NGC due to "Ineligible Type."
