THRACE, Byzantion. Circa 240-220 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 12.04 g, 12h). Meniskos, magistrate. Wreathed and veiled head of Demeter right / Poseidon seated right on rocks, holding trident and aphlaston; monogram to right. Marinescu Issue 6; Schönert-Geiss, Byzantion 980–94; HGC 3, 1408. Fair, toned, rough surfaces, chipped edge, tooled.
