temp.Andronicus II Palaeologus-John V Palaeologus. Circa 1282-1391. Æ Trachy (19.2mm, 1.35 g, 6h). Uncertain mint. Bust of St. Demetrius facing, nimbate, holding sword and shield / Emperor kneeling right before standing figure of Christ left; the emperor holding a scepter with the head consisting of a cross within a circle. DOC –; LPC p. 260, 3; SB –. Near VF, rough reddish-brown and green surfaces. Rare.
