Ionia. Ephesos. Circa 500-420 BC. Drachm (Silver, 14 mm, 3.41 g). Bee with spiral antennae. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Karwiese VI, Type 1A. SNG Kayhan 119. Bold and attractive with a dark patina as found. Struck on a curiously oblong flan. Good very fine.
