Ionia. Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Circa 155-145 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31 mm, 16.45 g, 12 h), Erognetos son of Zopyrion. Diademed bust of Artemis to right, with bow and quiver at her shoulder. Rev. ΜΑΓΝΗΤΩΝ / ΗΡΟΓΝΗΤΟΣ / ΖΩΠΥΡΙΩΝΟΣ Apollo standing left on maeander pattern, holding filleted laurel branch with his right hand and leaning his left elbow on a tripod behind him; all within laurel wreath. Jones 32a. SNG von Aulock 2042, 7921. Sharp and attractive. Struck flat at the bottom of Artemis's neck, otherwise, good extremely fine.
