BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ANTIOXOY / EYEPΓETOY Athena standing left, holding Nike in her right hand and resting her left on a shield; behind to right, spear; outer left, ΔΦ monogram above A; inner left, O; inner right, Λ. This coin forms part of a considerable issue of tetradrachms produced by Ariarathes VII in order to pay Seleucid mercenaries during his struggle with both Nicomedes III and Mithridates VI.
