IMP C M CL TACITVS AVG Radiate bust of Tacitus to right, with slight drapery over his left and right shoulders. Rev. PROVIDEN DEOR / KA Δ Fides standing right, holding two standards and facing Sol, standing left, raising his right hand in salute and holding a globe in his left. RIC temp 3965. A rare variety. Well struck and with considerable traces of original silvering. Extremely fine.
