IMP C M AVR PROBVS P F AVG Radiate bust of Probus to left, wearing imperial mantle and holding eagle-tipped scepter in his right hand. Rev. SISCIA PROBI AVG / XXIT The personification of Siscia seated to left on throne, her torso facing; she holds a long diadem with both hands; to left, the river god Savus (the modern Sava, a tributary of the Danube); to right, the river god Colapis (the modern Kupa, a tributary of the Sava); below, river waters. Cohen 638. RIC 764. Very rare, and with a dark brown- green patina. Traces of cleaning, and with the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
