Republic 8 Reales 1852/42 Ca-RG MS62 NGC, Chihuahua mint, KM377.2, DP-Ca23. A conditionally very rare type with an interesting anomaly regarding the hubs used. As NGC has designated this as an 1852/42 overdate, all specimens are 1852/42 due to a hub rework, as well as characteristic traits regarding the damage under the right wing of the eagle, the "L" in REPUBLICA, the crossbar of the "A", and the gothic-like "K/R". This example is still on of the finest in the graded population and most desirable.
