Hadrian, 117 – 138. Medallion 134-138, Æ 35.16 g. Laureate bust r. Rev. Hadrian in military attire galloping r. on horse accompanied by a soldier on horseback r., both holding a spear between them in rested position. Before them, a foot soldier advancing r. bearing vexillum and holding shield. C 1506. Gnecchi II, p. 8, 47 and pl. 42, 2.
Extremely rare. Brown patina somewhat tooled, otherwise good very fine / very fine
