Syracuse. Tetradrachm, in the style of Eukleidas, circa 405, AR 17.51 g. Fast quadriga driven l. by charioteer, holding kentron in r. hand and reins in both; above, Nike flying r., crowning him; in exergue, dolphin r. Rev. [ΣY] – PAK – OΣ – IΩ – [И] Head of Arethusa l., hair in bands, wearing double-loop earring and plain necklace with frontal pendant; and four dolphins around. Rizzo pl. XLVIIII, 15. Rare and in exceptional condition for the issue. Struck on exceptionally good
