The 13 stars variety is the rarest of four known 1797 half dime varieties. The rarest varieties are LM-3 and LM-4 while LM-1 and LM-2 are common. Very rare.
Sharp details. All stars are perfectly struck and visible with a very slight bluish luster remaining around them . Very few recent auction records for this type. An excellent investor's choice and a must in each collection.
