Postumus, Romano-Gallic Emperor, 260-269. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 28 mm, 14.69 g, 5 h), Cologne, 261. IMP C POSTVMVS P F AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Postumus to right. Rev. LAETITIA / AVG Small galley, a navis lusoriae with four oarsmen and a steersman, rowing to left. Bastien, Postume, 85c (same dies). Cohen 169 var. (not cuirassed). RIC 144 ('Lugdunum'). A very well struck and unusually complete example with a fine green patina and an excellent portrait. Some minor flan faults, otherwise, about extremely fine.
