SYRIA: French Mandate, AR 50 piastres, 1929, KM-E6, Lec-38, Paris mint specimen essai strike, superbly struck with faint tones of light blue peripheral tone, estimated mintage of 64 pieces, PCGS graded Specimen 65, RR. Very rare as true gem, issued in open cases by Paris mint and usually chattered or hairlined through mishandling. A lovely example and tied for finest graded by PCGS and NGC.
