ALBANIA: Republic, AR frang ar, 1927-R, KM-6, a superb example! NGC graded MS67. Giuseppe Romagnoli was an Italian medalist and sculptor. Romagnoli's skills were eventually recognized by the Rome Mint, and he was given a job at the institution. During his life, Romagnoli designed a number of coins and medals for Albania, Italy, and Somalia. He died in Rome in 1966. Not an especially rare coin in lower grades of Mint State, but this issue is exceedingly rare in MS67.
