PUERTO RICO: AR ½ dollar, ND [1884], KM-6, fleur-de-lis countermarked on USA Liberty Seated half dollar dated 1876-S, holed and plugged as is common for this countermarked type, VF. In 1884, Puerto Rican customs houses took holed foreign coins and countermarked them for use on the island. They were legal tender until 1894.
