ARAB-BYZANTINE: Standing Caliph, ca. 692-697, AE fals (3.02g), Qûrus, A-3536, circle-on-steps reverse, mint name to right, waf to left, nice example of this rare mint, bold VF, RRR. The planchet is part square, part round, thus a cut portion of a much larger copper coin, presumably a Byzantine follis.
