GWALIOR: SABALGARH: Daulat Rao, 1794-1827, AR rupee (10.73g), AH(11)98 year 34, KM--, in the name of Shah Alam II, inverted axe, couple light scratches, EF, R. Attribution to Sabalgarh is tentative. See the article by Shailendra Bhandare in JONS, volume 198 (winter 2009). The mint name itself reads either falus or filusa, the latter perhaps a reference to Jean Baptiste Filose, who conquered Sabalgarh for Gwalior in 1810.
