ROHILKHAND: AR rupee (11.05g), "Najibabad", AH [12]21 year 47, KM-116var, in the name of Shah Alam II, actually struck at Rampur (or perhaps Ghausgarh), with the stylized katar symbol instead of the whiskered fish of Awadh, as on the actual Awadh coins of Najibabad, EF. Last year of the series, sometimes considered an issue of the Bengal Presidency (see Paul Stevens, The Coins of the Bengal Presidency, pp. 474-476).
