UMAYYAD: AE fals (1.41g), NM, ND, A-Q206var, lion right, fancy tail, 4 pellets in the field // elephant right, Arabic bi'l-kull above ("for everything"), appears to be unpublished, VF to EF, RRR. The general style, and the Arabic phrase, all suggest Central Asian origin. The lion design suggests the Tashkent region, perhaps issued after the Chach coinage of that region (cf. S&K-group 6, type 8, version 4 for the lion), but the elephant is apparently unknown from the region. Type A-Q206 has the reverse phrase "ja'iz lahu / bi-kull shay" ("current for it, for everything").
