ABBASID: al-Mu'tadid, as heir apparent, 891-892, AR donative dirham (2.67g), NM, AH278, A-M241, same style as the normal donative dirhams of al-Mu'tadid struck during his caliphate, but a year before and with the central legends lillah / al-mu'tamid / billah on obverse, and wali / 'ahd / al-muslimin on reverse, unpublished and appears to be unique, mount removed (as so often the case for these donative dirhams), VF, RRRR.
